Pioneering New Cancer Treatments Daily

Over the last five years, the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute's (UPCI) faculty members have published more than 5,000 articles in peer-reviewed journals. The research enterprise at UPCI is organized into several major areas, including basic cancer research programs, translational cancer care research programs, disease-site specific programs, and cancer control and population sciences. The goal of all research at UPCI is to reduce the burden of cancer and improve cancer treatment.
