Annual Review and Mandatory Training for Volunteers

Each year, UPMC, the Department of Health, The Joint Commission, and other governing bodies require that UPMC staff and volunteers complete annual mandatory training. This training is required annually to provide awareness of all current policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.

If you have been notified by Volunteer and Community Services that you are due for your annual review, please follow the steps below to complete the annual review process by the due date that was given to you:

  1. Review the Privacy Awareness Module and take the quiz at the end.
  2. Complete the online Orientation/Annual Review quiz, print and sign the Completion Certificate, provided at the end of the quiz.
  3. Review the Bloodborne Pathogens Education Module and take the quiz at the end.
  4. Return the documents to the Volunteer and Community Services office via fax, email, or in person.

Note: If you do not have access to a printer, computers and printers are available in the Gumberg Family Resource Center, (8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) located on the ground floor of Hillman Cancer Center.
