Liver Cancer Care

The liver is a large organ in the belly that:

  • Filters blood from the digestive tract.
  • Secretes bile through ducts into the intestines.
  • Metabolizes drugs and other toxins to keep the body healthy.

The liver is on the right side of the belly and has two lobes. One lobe is on the left side of the liver and one is on the right.

Each year, doctors diagnose almost 24,000 people in the United States with liver cancer.

At UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, we offer state-of-the-art liver cancer treatments and therapies tailored to meet your unique needs.
