The new pavilion provides 27,000-square-feet of increased capacity for the UPMC CancerCenter at UPMC Passavant, tripling its size. The center offers the latest medical, radiation and surgical oncology services by experts of UPMC CancerCenter and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, the region's only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The Cancer Center features a new CT simulator and new clinical space.
Chemotherapy Treatment Room – Ground Floor
All chemotherapy infusion rooms now feature windows that allow improved access, visibility, and natural lighting. There are separate waiting areas for cancer patients, as well as a comprehensive cancer resource library.
Creative Hair Solutions
UPMC CancerCenter at UPMC Passavant offers a full range of supportive care services to help patients and their families to prepare for and manage treatment, recovery, and beyond — including an Appearance Center (featuring the Creative Hair Solutions hair-loss studio for women).

UPMC CancerCenter, partner with University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI), has partnered with community-based hospitals throughout the region to develop one of the largest integrated community networks of cancer physicians and health care specialists in the country.
UPMC CancerCenter at UPMC Passavant allows patients to receive the highest level of cancer care without having to leave their communities.
UPMC Passavant has opened its long-awaited new seven-story Patient Pavilion. The new pavilion features specialized care with special expertise in patients with breast, lung, esophageal, upper gastrointestinal, pancreas, colorectal and liver cancer. Patients have access to high-end treatment technologies, including 4D respiratory-gated imaging, gated intensity modulated radiation therapies, and on-board imaging.
The Radiation Oncology Program of UPMC CancerCenter is accredited by the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO). As the largest ACRO accredited system in the United States, the Radiation Oncology Program is committed to the highest quality in radiation oncology care.

Appointments and office hours
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekends and after hours for select services by appointment only.
Appointments can be made by calling (412) 367-6454 and can be coordinated through a family physician or PCP, or through another specialist. This enables us to obtain records needed to make a patient’s appointment and to have treatment options available at the time of visit.
