Medical Oncology
Edward Chu, MD, is the chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology, and the deputy director of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. He specializes in the treatment of colorectal and GI cancers; and Phase I clinical trials.
Dr. Chu is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He received his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine, Providence, R.I., and completed a residency at Roger Williams General Hospital, Brown University, Providence, R.I, and a fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Md.
