Medical Oncology
Dr. Ellis is a medical oncologist who is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Oncology and has been practicing in the Pittsburgh area for 20 years. His primary office is at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. In addition to his role as a practicing physician, he also serves as the Director of Medical Oncology Network for UPMC Cancer Centers.
Dr. Ellis is a Pittsburgh native who received his Bachelor's degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, followed by a MD earned at the University of Pittsburgh. His internal medicine residency was with the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Duke University in Durham, NC.
