Committed to SCT Therapies and Research
The Stem Cell Transplantation Program of UPMC CancerCenter is committed to developing and improving SCT therapies for adults and children with blood and bone cancers, as well as other diseases.
The program is an approved transplant center by the National Cancer Institute's Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), a national multi-institutional organization that coordinates and facilitates cancer-related clinical trials. Through ECOG, the program can offer cancer patients participation in innovative clinical trials of promising new transplant approaches to treat the disease.
